Neus <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En la presente tesis se demuestra que el \u00abpuff\u00bb 35b de los cromosomas politenicos de drosophila melanogaster, en el que se localiza el gen adh, es transcripcionalmente activo en las glandulas salivales durante el 3er estadio larvario. Sin embargo, la formacion de dicho \u00abpuff\u00bb no parece guardar relacion con la expresion del gen adh, el cual presenta niveles minimos de transcripcion en las glandulas salivales. Por lo tanto, la formacion de un \u00abpuff\u00bb en una determinada region cromosomica no implica que todos los genes localizados en la region del \u00abpuff\u00bb se transcriban activamente. En segundo lugar, se ha determinado la localizacion tisular y subcelular de la proteina adh mediante la utilizacion de anticuerpos monoclonales. En d.Melanogaster esta proteina se encuentra ampliamente distribuida en numerosos organos larvarios y adultos. En los organos adh-positivos presenta un patron de distribucion especifico y se localiza en determinados tipos celulares. En el epitelio de los ciegos gastricos y de los tubulos de malpighi la proteina adh es citosolica, aunque los resultados obtenidos sugieren que una fraccion de la misma podria estar localizada en el nucleo.
