Se exponen dos modelos computacionales: un modelo de procesamiento en farm (mf) y un modelo de procesamiento distribuido (md). Se evaluan para cada uno de ellos su balance de carga computacional y su rendimiento efectivo, con diferentes topolog\u00edas de interconexion.  la evaluacion aplica la metodolog\u00eda de modelos ocultos de markov (hmm), introduciendo tecnicas para la reduccion de computo durante el reconocimiento, obteniendo un tiempo de respuesta de 1.8 veces el tiempo real, con un vocabulario de 1.000 palabras pronunciadas en forma aislada con un numero de cuatro procesadores.  el resultado y aportacion de la tesis es la concepcion de un sistema conversor habla-texto en tiempo
