Exiten varios procedimientos desarrollados para el tratamiento y recuperacion integral de los acidos y de los metales que estas disoluciones contienen.  el trabajo de investigacion que constituye esta tesis doctoral se centra en el desarrollo de un metodo de recuperacion de los metales de las lejias residuales por precipitacion de manera que los productos solidos obtenidos presenten unas composiciones que permitan su reciclaje en las industrias metarlugicas. Ademas, la recuperacion de los metales debe ser compatible con los metodos existentes para la recuperacion del acido libre y combinado.  la investigacion desarrollada permite proponer las condiciones de operaci\u00f3n para la recuperacion efectiva del contenido metalico por precipitacion, determinando las propiedades quimicas y morfologicas de los precipitados obtenidos, y el esquema del proceso
