En el primero de ellos, relacionado con la oxidacion de fe3o4 y con el calentamiento de un lecho fijo de pelets, el incremento de temperatura entre el centro del pelet respecto de su superficie del orden de 20 c, se puso experimentalmente en evidencia y fue contrastado satisfactoriamente con los resultados de un modelo teorico desarrollado en la presente tesis. Tambien se desarrollaron modelos analiticos y numericos para predecir el calentamiento de un lecho fijo de pelets verificados en planta piloto y aplicado en planta industrial.  el otro proceso a modelizar toma en cuenta la volatizacion selectiva de los materiales presentes en el mineral de la colombotantalita.
