Se efectua en primer lugar la caracterizacion de materiales, estudiando especialmente las condiciones de servicio para evitar la iniciacion y propagacion de roturas. La investigacion posterior del soldeo en campo con electrodos celulosicos y basicos de alta resistencia y tecnica de 4 soldadores, proporciona una sistematica de estudio para conducciones de esta categoria, con evaluacion de los tama\u00f1os de defecto admisibles segun criterios de mecanica de fractura. Se incluyen en esta parte los efectos de las tensiones residuales de soldeo, determinadas por el metodo de relajacion por orificio y una investigacion sobre este metodo, desarrollando nuevos
