Se ha hecho la caracterizacion fisiologica de los frutos a temperatura 9 grados y 20 grados c, investigando la correlacion entre los gases internos y externos. Asi mismo se han experimentado diferentes atmosferas de conservacion a 9 grados c. En este sentido se ha establecido ensayos con baja concentracion de oxigeno, al 21% y al 3% de 02. Fueron ensayadas tambien las atmosferas con elevadas concentraciones de co2, en los niveles de 3,6,9 y 12% de co2.  los diferentes tratamientos fueron evaluados mediante los parametros: firmeza de
