En este dise\u00f1o se consideran las tecnicas de ingenieria de fiabilidad aplicables a este tipo de equipos, asi como las especificaciones electricas y mecanicas que debe cumplir. De estas ultimas se anaiza a detalle la normativa vigente referente a las pruebas de calificacion sismica que debe pasar el interruptor, proponiendose un programa de ensayo sismico.  se considera tambien un estudio del sistema de control de barras para determinar la condicion de carga maxima que debe soportar el interruptor y la corriente de cortocircuito
