En ella se hace una revision critica de la bibliografia existente sobre adquisicion e interpretacion de las se\u00f1ales, en la que se pone de manifiesto la complejidad de la tecnica.  se describe el trabajo de instrumentacion de un pendulo charpy y se analizan los registros obtenidos.  se presenta un gran numero de resultados de ensayos sobre probetas de diversas configuraciones, utilizando la tecnica del charpy instrumentado.
