Tambien se ha encontrado un papel mediador del ca2+ en la inhibicion por lindano de la sintesis de fosfatidilinositoles. Estos resultados, junto a los obtenidos en estudios sobre la accion de otros organoclorados, indican que las acciones de estos y su toxicidad no se deben exclusivamente al caracter lipofilico de estos compuestos. Por otro lado, se sometio a animales de experimentacion a intoxicacion semicronica con lindano, poniendose de manifiesto el desarrollo de mecanismos de adaptacion en el organismo para contrarrestar la
