En la primera parte, consagrada a las categorias fundamentales, se resumen los argumentos de weber sobre la reflexion sobre sus investigaciones sociologicas empiricas. En la segunda, se exponen los temas tratados en las sociolog\u00edas particulares (de la religion, juridica y economica), de acuerdo con las categorias dise\u00f1adas en economia y sociedad: comunidad, sociedad, asociacion, lucha y dominacion. En la tercera, se resumen las exposiciones en torno a la investigacion sobre la etica protestante y el espiritu del capitalismo. El trabajo concluye estableciendo algunas comparaciones con el pensamiento filosofico de otros autores (especialmente aristoteles y hegel), y con la evaluacion de alguna de sus categorias
