El extracto oseo implantado subcutaneamente en ratas, confirma su potencial osteogenico al producir un aumento en el deposito de calcio, en la actividad fosfatasa alcalina y en actividades lactato deshidrogenasa y malato deshidrogenasa, ademas de una disminucion en la actividad fosfatasa acida y una mayor proliferacion celular. Por primera vez se ha comprobado que la administracion a las ratas de un extracto oseo desmineralizado, tanto por via subcutanea como por via oral, induce actividad osteoblastica, ya que se produce un aumento estadisticamente significativo en el contenido en hidroxiprolina y colageno y en la velocidad de sintesis proteica de los huesos, asi como en los niveles de osteocalcina serica, respecto a los
