Se han determinado los niveles de materia org\u00e1nica y los m\u00e9t\u00e1licos de sedimentos y tubif\u00edcidos. Estos organismos bent\u00f3nicos son capaces de absorver metales tanto de los sedimentosj como del agua. Por ello, a partir de nuestras determinaciones y con los datos referentes al contenido met\u00e1lico en aguas y a los par\u00e1metros f\u00edsico-qu\u00edmicos y de contaminaci\u00f3n de las mismas, obtenidos dentro del desarrollo del proyecto total, se ha realizado un profundo estudio matem\u00e1tico que ha permitido establecer: 1) el car\u00e1cter globalizador de los tubif\u00edcidos como monitores, tanto del riesgo de bioasimilaci\u00f3n, como del de transferencia de los metales hacia niveles tr\u00f3ficos superiores; 2) la posible existencia de mecanismos de regulaci\u00f3n (cu, zn, mn) y\/o de detoxificaci\u00f3n (pb) en tubif\u00edcidos; 3) la gran acumulaci\u00f3n de origen antr\u00f3pico de estos metales en la cuenca fluvial -existe una distribuci\u00f3n zonal de ellos en los sedimentos del r\u00edo jarama con niveles potencialmente m\u00e1s t\u00f3xicos al avanzar hacia su desembocadura.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
