Las isotermas obtenidas, tipo ii, han permitido calcular los calores netos de absorcion y las areas superficiales especificas y se ha mostrado que el comportamiento del sistema 1,4-dioxano\/celulosa corresponde a una adsorcion fisica sobre una superficie macroporosa y de baja energia. En la region de bajas presiones, las isotermas han mostrado una desviacion con respecto la isoterma de langmuir, que revela una cierta heterogeneidad energetica de la celulosa. Por aplicacion del metodo de aproximacion asintotica corregida, se han obtenido las funciones de distribucion de las energias de adsorcion del sistema 1,4-dioxano\/celulosa apareciendo dos maximos situados a 8.82 y 8.06 kcal\/mol atribuibles respectivamente al hidroxilo primario c-2, y a los hidroxilos secundarios c-3 y c-6, menos reactivos, del anillo glucopiranosico de la
