El estudio esta basado en observaciones de clases grabadas en video y transcritas, de tres casos, como fuente principal de datos, y otros procedimientos complementarios, siguiendo los principios de la investigacion etnografica. Se desarrolla un modelo de analisis que permite interpretar los cambios segun el contexto y su situacion en el desarrollo discursivo: se establecen dos categorias basicas (cambios y commutaciones) que se distinguen sobre todo por su funcion (facilitadora del aprendizaje\/contrastiva) con dos subcategorias respectivamente (a y b\/ c y d). Se analizan 25 clases, se describen los cambios comunes identificados, y se cuantifican; se dise\u00f1an tres perfiles de uso. El discurso de clase aparece en su especificidad:  plurilingue, redundante, jerarquico, orientado al nivel metaverbal, polifonico.
