Los resultados muestran un aumento en el n de reabsorciones fetales\/camada y un descenso en el n de fetos\/camada y en el peso fetal en las ratas tratadas.  asimismo, se observa una inhibicion acompetitiva en la actividad gst eritrocitaria de las ratas tratadas con mayor dosis de b(a)p (300 mg\/kg). En cuanto a la gst placentaria y fetal, en las ratas tratadas con una dosis menor de b(a)p (250 mg\/kg) se aprecia una induccion enzimatica de la gst; en las tratadas con 300 mg\/kg, ello no ocurre, pero sin embargo el cromatoenfoque placentario muestra una isoforma adicional de gst. El hecho de que los cambios observados en la placenta y en el feto sean menos acusados en las ratas tratadas con 300 mg\/kg (19 dias de gestacion) que en las tratadas con 250 mg\/kg (16 dias de gestacion), indicaria el papel protector de la placenta ante los compuestos electrofilicos, como el hidrocarburo benzo (a) pireno.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
