Se basa el metodo, en la obtencion de un modelo circuital del cuerpo, consistente en un conjunto de n generadores de tension, acoplados en paralelo entre la superficie del cuerpo y tierra. Cada uno de estos generadores representa una peque\u00f1a porcion de la superficie del cuerpo, de forma que cuanto mayor sea n, cuyo valor esta limitado solamente por la capacidad computacional disponible, se puede modelizar el cuerpo con mas fidelidad. Este modelo permite la obtencion de los circuitos equivalentes de distintos organos. Tambien se obtiene, a partir del modelo circuital, una formula para la corriente de cortocircuito, que generaliza la de deno.  se aplica el metodo a un cuerpo humano determinado, obteniendo entre otras cantidades, las corrientes en sus diferentes organos para dos posturas distintas y bajo diferentes condiciones ambientales, asi como la corriente global en funcion de la impedancia a tierra,
