En primer lugar se analiza la propagacion simultanea de varias ondas de diferente frecuencia en medios kerr, incidiendo en algunas soluciones particulares del sistema de ecuaciones que describe la evolucion de las ondas.  seguidamente se investigan dos fenomenos nuevos: guiado inducido y division de ondas no lineal, debidos a la modulacion de fase cruzada inducida por una onda de elevada intensidad sobre una onda de poca intensidad. En completo acuerdo con la teoria desarrollada, se exponen por primera vez resultados experimentales que evidencian este tipo de fenomenos.  por ultimo, se estudia la autodifraccion y difraccion inducida por una red de volumen generada no linealmente por haces solitones.
