El procedimiento es valido hasta conversiones por debajo del punto de gel.  se observa que la reaccion de curado de la reaccion de curado de resina epoxi con m-xenilenediamina es autocatalitica\/orden n en todo el proceso, pero a orden n con el aumento de la temperatura. La reaccion sigue un mecanismo termolecular con orden global 2,5. A altas temperaturas y elevadas relaciones amina\/epoxi el orden puede ser 3.  las energias de activacion (12-14 cal\/mol) estan fuertemente influenciadas por el contenido de impurezas pero son practicamente independientes de las relaciones de mezcla utilizadas. Se comprobo experimentalmente la existencia de aminas terciarias para relaciones equivalentes proximas a la ratio critica (2,97).  el contenido y tipo de impurezas tiene gran influencia sobre la velocidad global de reaccion.  la calorimetria de diferencial de barrido es una excelente tecnica analitica para el seguimiento del curado de una formulacion epoxidica.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
