De una parte mediante una ecuacion de relajacion de fase desarrollada a tal efecto. La aparicion de una funcion de fase no lineal (a diferencia de kuramoto que es constante) da lugar a la formacion de una super-estructura denominada: super-espiral. Mediante un modelo tipo geometrico-cinematico, en el que se suponen conocidas las ecuaciones determinantes de la posicion de la punta de la espiral, se ha analizado la formacion de super-espirales en funcion de la segunda frecuencia asociada al meandering de la punta de la espiral. Una posible transicion al caos espacio-temporal es comentada al a\u00f1adir un numero n de frecuencias a la rotacion de la punta de la espiral. Finalmente, el efecto de un campo electrico es estudiado sobre la dinamica de las espirales y modelizado mediante una version modificada del oregonator.
