Levinas es interpretada como filosofia judia, proponiendose considerar su escitura filosofica como un \u00abpalimpsesto\u00bb. Este se articula en dos niveles de sentido: el uno manifiesto o explicito (\u00abfenotexto\u00bb), el otro velado u oculto (\u00abprototexto\u00bb), pero secretamente fundante del primero. De ahi se procede a interpretar el conjunto de la obra filosofica como proyeccion de una significacion biblica latente.  asi, tras una exposicion panoramica de la ontolog\u00eda livinariana, se hace derivar la descripcion del rostro del concepto veterotestamentario de revelacion y la subjetividad etica -sustitucion- como reflejo de la redencion.
