Estos acidos grasos vienen siendo aplicados en farmacolog\u00eda para el tratamiento y prevencion de enfermedades cardiovasculares, asi como en acuicultura como factor de crecimiento para diversas especies de peces y moluscos bivalvos. Para este fin se  selecciono la microalga mariana isochrysis galbana debido a su riqueza en lipidos, especialmente en epa y dha.  el plan experimental para desarrollar esta idea ha comprendido dos vias de actuacion complementarias. Por un lado, a partir de un cultivo de i. Galbana, se ha llevado a cabo un proceso de aislamiento y seleccion de cepas productoras de epa y dha, haciendo uso de la variabilidad genetica de la cepa inicial. Por otro, se han estudiado las variables de operacion y ambientales para el cultivo de i. Galbana que favorecen la productividad de los acidos grasos de interes. Este estudio se ha realizado en una primera fase en discontinuo (variables ambientales), y en una segunda fase en continuo (variables de operacion).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de
