Albicans a partir de los cultivos de dicha fase incubados 24 horas a 37gradosc. El extracto antigenico (e.A.) Se obtuvo concentrando los sobrenadantes de los cultivos mediante ultrafiltracion bajo presion. El e.A.  obtenido esta compuesto por un 53% de azucares y un 10% de proteinas. La espectrofotometria infrarroja detecto la presencia de manosa y de polisacaridos unidos en posicion beta. La composicion quimica exacta, obtenida mediante cromatografia, fue la siguiente: 21,74% de manosa y 18,32% de glucosa.  se han desarrollado 3 inmunoensayos con objeto de caracterizar la respuesta serologica al e.A. Asimismo, se ha realizado un estudio clinico con pacientes ingresados en el hospital \u00abramon y cajal\u00bb para conocer la utilidad del e.A. En el serodiagnostico de las candidiasis invasivas. La sensibilidad de las 3 tecnicas, elisa para deteccion de anticuerpos, w.B. Y elisa para deteccion directa del e.A., Fue la misma.
