Un recorrido analitico y critico por varios instrumentos de diagnostico para diferentes situaciones educativas asi lo confirman.  se intenta probar la fiabilidad, con la prueba alfa de cronbach, al cuestionario honey-alonso de estilos de aprendizaje \u00abchaea\u00bb, despues de la adaptacion a universitarios espa\u00f1oles del original ingles \u00ablsq\u00bb de honey.  tres analisis factoriales tratan de manifestar algunos indicadores de validez desde diferentes perspectivas. El estudio empirico se realiza con una muestra de 1371 alumnos de las universidades complutense y politecnica de Madrid (25 centros). Se intenta contrastar 18 hipotesis sobre la significacion de relaciones entre variables socioacademicas y los cuatro estilos de aprendizaje.  se abren perspectivas de optimizacion para los estilos de
