Amparo <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La familia diaspididae es la mas importante en cuanto al numero de especies se refiere y a los da\u00f1os que causan a las plantas que parasitan dentro de los coccoidea. Se hace una revision de dicha familia en espa\u00f1a peninsular y baleares, ya que desde que en 1968 el dr. D. Juan gomez-menor publicara su ultimo trabajo, la investigacion sobre este grupo de insectos practicamente ha quedado paralizada en nuestro pais a pesar de tener importantes implicaciones a nivel de plagas y por tanto gran relevancia economica. En nuestro trabajo se presentan todas las especies, hasta la fecha, encontradas en espa\u00f1a peninsular y baleares, cuyo numero asciende a 92 englobadas en 47 generos. Se actualiza la sistematica y la nomenclatura del grupo, al mismo tiempo que se dan diferentes aspectos sobre la biolog\u00eda, la distribucion y las plantas que parasitan.
