El modelo ha sido dise\u00f1ado para adecuarse a la simulacion de circulaciones atmosfericas de escala regional y local, prestandose especial atencion al tratamiento de la orografia y de la capa limite planetaria. Se han parametrizado los siguientes procesos fisicos: el balance energetico en el suelo, la turbulencia y la conveccion, la radiacion tanto de onda corta como de onda larga y la formacion de nubes y precipitacion. El modelo desarrollado se ha aplicado a una zona del norte de la peninsula iberica, habiendose analizado la influencia que ejercen las caracteristicas de los suelos y la orografia sobre un flujo
