En los primeros capitulos se presentan y analizan los conceptos basicos y magnitudes fundamentales del campo de gravedad terrestre, asi como los metodos para la determinacion gravimetrica del geoide, con especial atencion al metodo de colocacion minimo cuadratica. En los cuatro ultimos capitulos se incluye todo el proceso de calculo, desde el analisis previo de los datos, su posterior tratamiento, hasta la obtencion de las ondulaciones del geoide en las citadas zonas mediante el metodo de colocacion.
