Rapa, raphanus raphanistun y y r.Satirus.  dichas proteinas se han caracterizado estructuralmente, llegando a determinar la estructura primaria de las cinco almbuminas 25 de b.Napus y de una de las aisladas a partir de b.Juncea. En el primer caso, dos de las proteinas secuenciadas presentan un peso molecular anormalmente bajo en comparacion con todas las demas proteinas estudiadas. Sin embargo, todas presentan homolog\u00eda de secuencia y constituyen una familia de proteinas de reserva de las semillas. Ademas, se han caracterizado inmunologicamente por la estrecha relacion estructural que guardan con el alergeno de la mostaza amarilla, que tambien es una albumina 25 de semillas. Las peque\u00f1as diferencias estructurales entre unas y otras proteinas, y el empleo de anticuerpos monoclonales y policlonales especificos contra dicho alergeno, asi como la utilizacion de peptidos
