Victoria <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El selenio es un elemento traza cuya esencialidad para la vida humana ha sido demostrada recientemente. Una carencia nutricional de selenio puede ser un factor de riesgo para las enfermedades cardiovasculares, ademas, se han demostrado sus propiedades anticarcinogenicas.  en la presente memoria se describe la puesta a punto de un metodo de determinacion de selenio en suero mediante espectrofotometria de absorcion atomica en horno de grafito, usando como modificador de matriz cloruro de paladio (ii) que forma con el selenio compuestos termoestables que permiten la calcinacion de la matriz del suero humano a altas temperaturas (1100 grados c) evitando las interferencias del hierro y del fosforo.  este metodo ha permitido la valoracion del rango de referencia para la concentracion de selenio en suero en la poblacion adulta supuestamente sana, permitiendonos evaluar las diferencias de las concentraciones para diferentes grupos de edad y no observando diferencias apreciables para las concentraciones de selenio segun el sexo de los individuos estudiados.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral \u00ab<strong>Determinacion de selenio en suero por espectrofotometria de absorcion atomica<\/strong>\u00ab<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>T\u00edtulo de la tesis:<\/strong>\u00a0 Determinacion de selenio en suero por espectrofotometria de absorcion atomica <\/li>\n<li><strong>Autor:<\/strong>\u00a0  Seijas Martinez Echevarria M.
