En este sentido, presentamos un trabajo interdisciplinar que nos parece importante para poseer una vision de conjunto y una puesta al dia de la obra balmesiana, poniendo de relieve su modernidad. La reivindicacion del hombre entero nos ha servido de hilo conductor de los distintos ambitos de la realidad antropologica, tanto desde el campo epistemologico, como desde la vertiente sociologica o educativa. Desde el marco de su insercion en la cultura y filosofia catalana y espa\u00f1ola, destacamos su interes por superar las corrientes filosoficas reductivas, de signo sensualista o idealista, y su propuesta de fundamentacion epistemologica, a traves de los distintos criterios de certeza, como de la reivindicacion de la vida social del hombre, y del conocimiento de su proyeccion educativa. Todos estos factores solo adquieren su comprension plena desde una vision antropologica de signo integral y solidario y desde una perpectiva integradora y global como clave fundamental de
