Con ello, se hace un rastreo de la propia historia del teatro egipcio, desde sus formas preteatrales a los modos modernos y actuales del siglo xx.  la tesis consta de dos partes: la primera trata de la historia del teatro egipcio en general, mientras que la segunda se dedica a la direccion escenica, propiamente dicha, en egipto. Tras estas grandes partes se incluye un apendice con fotocopias originales de planos, decorados, anuncios, fotos, etc. Las conclusiones tambien se dividen en historicas y tecnicas. De ellas, se destaca que la evolucion de la funcion del director en el teatro egipcio paso por las mismas fases y etapas que tuvieron lugar en el teatro occidental, aunque en una peculiar forma
