Los animales cirroticos mostraron en condiciones basales un menor flujo plasmatico papilar que los animales controle. Esta vasoconstriccion basal de la circulacion medular renal, se acompa\u00f1o de una menor diuresis y natriuresis. La expansion de volumen (3% del peso corporal) aumento el flujo plasmatico papilar en controles, pero no lo cambio en los cirroticos. Esta incapacidad de la papila, en el animal cirrotico, para vasodilatarse ante la expansion de volumen, se acompa\u00f1o de una menor respuesta diuretica y natriuretica y de un menor incremento de la presion hidrostatica intersticial renal (phir). Esta menor respuesta a la expansion de volumen en cirrosis, no puede explicarse por una hiperactividad simpatica, pero si parcialmente por una falta o disminucion del factor relajante dependiente del endotelio. Por otra parte, el mecanismo de presion-diuresis-natriuresis es normal en esta etapa y modelo de cirrosis.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
