En esta tesis se estudia la extraccion de galio de disoluciones acuosas clorhidricas de baja concentracion en el metal. Se ha estudiado la influencia que, sobre el equilibrio de extraccion, ejercen variables tales como: ph, temperatura, concentracion de cloruros, fuerza ionica de la fase acuosa y concentracion de extractante. En la ultima parte del trabajo, se han aplicado los resultados obtenidos en los estudios de extraccion, a la separacion y recuperacion de galio contenido en los residuos industriales: cenizas volantes
