La actividad 5-fosfatasa es intracelular y esta asociada con las membranas plasmaticas. Se caracterizo una actividad insp3 3-quinasa en la fraccion soluble del enterocito. Las actividades fosfatasa extracelulares se enriquecieron 17 veces en las membranas del microvilli, estas fosfatasas extracelulares hidrolizan a los fosfatos i y 4 con igual eficacia, a estos enzimas extracelulares estan implicados en la digestion de los inositol fosfatos de la dieta. La actividad 5-fosfatasa intracelular se enriquecio 13 veces en las membranas basolaterales, en el mismo polo de la celula donde se supone se libera el ins(i,4,5)p3, esto sugiere la implicacion de esta actividad enzimatica en el mecanismo de transduccion de se\u00f1ales mediado por fosfoinositidos. Esto es lo contrario de lo que sucede en los hepatocitos; estas diferencias en la distribucion pueden ser importantes en el metabolismo del ins(i,4,5)p3.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
