En el primero se estudio a que altitud se iniciaba la afectacion de la capacidad aerobica de las personas entrenadas y sedentarias. En el segundo y tercero se estudio la respuesta metabolica del musculo humano al entrenamiento en altitud moderada (2300 metros), con un grupo control que realizaba el mismo entrenamiento (bien en valor absoluto, o relativo), tomandose antes y despues del periodo de entrenamiento biopsias musculares. Conclusiones principales:- ya a 900 metros los deportistas disminuyen significativamente su consumo maximo de oxigeno por la altitud.  &#8211; el entrenamiento en altitud moderada realizado con suficiente intensidad y duracion mejora el metabolismo oxidativo muscular y la concentracion de mioglobina significativamente mas que el mismo entrenamiento realizado a nivel del mar. &#8211; Las enzimas glucoliticas musculares pueden disminuir con el entrenamiento en altitud si se estimula la via oxidativa muscular.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
