Angeles <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se ha estudiado por procedimientos morfometricos los efectos del captopril sobre el organo subfornical (osf) y el area postrema (ap) del raton adulto. Se emplearon un total de 58 ratones adultos alimentados con dieta standar y sacrificados en grupos de 5 a los 85, 100, 130 y 160 dias de edad. Se dividieron en tres grupos, un grupo control (20 animales) y dos grupos experimentales que recibieron en el agua de bebida: 1 mg de captopril por kg\/pecorporal (20 animales) y 4 mg de captopril por kg\/peso (18 animales). La administracion oral de captopril no produce importantes cambios en el tama\u00f1o de los nucleos de los ependimocitos y las neuronas de ambos centros. Sin embargo existen otros efectos cuantitativos del captopril sobre el volumen global del osf y sobre el neuropilo y elementos vasculares del osf y ap, que presenta un incremento significativo.
