Cabe destacar como aspectos mas importantes de la tesis: (a) la preparacion y estudio de los primeros bis-aductos de co2 caracterizados estructuralmente:  trans-mo(co2)2 (pme3)4 y trans, mer-mo(co2)2 (cnr)(pme3)3. (B) la observacion, en la esfera de coordinacion del metal, de una reaccion de acoplamiento de los ligandos co2 y c2h4 para dar derivados del acido acrilico. (C) la consecucion de procesos ciclicos, aunque no cataliticos de formacion de los acidos acrilico, h2c=chcooh, y propionico, ch3 ch2 cooh a partir de co2+c2h4, y co2+c2h4+h2,
