La difraccion de una onda electromagnetica plana linealmente polarizada a traves de una epicud de cintas la hemos abordado con la tecnica del analisis modal. Las ecuaciones integrales de fredholm de primera especie resultantes se han abordado con el metodo de los momentos-galerkin. El sistema epicud de cintas dielectrico se ha estudiado con la tecnica de las matrices de dispersion generalizadas. Hemos desarrollado un modelo que permite estudiar sistemas giradores de polarizacion formados por la conexion en cascada de epicud de cintas en dielectrico. Se presentan las directrices de dise\u00f1o en funcion de los parametros geometricos y electricos, centrandonos en dispositivos de banda ancha (7-18 ghz).
