El primero de ellos elaborado por caselles y delegido (1987) y probado en la region Valenciana utilizando imagenes del satelite hcmm, ya desaparecido. En el se determina la evapotranspiracion a partir de imagenes de radiacion global y de temperatura, siendo necesario disponer de un mapa de cultivos.  nosotros lo hemos aplicado en la region manchega con imagenes del satelite noaa, comprobando que al aumentar la altitud de la zona el modelo se comporta segun predice la teoria de doorenbos y pruitt (1977).  tambien se ha verificado que el error con este metodo es inferior al 20%. En segundo lugar, basandonos en los trabajos de jackson y col (1977) seguin eitier (1983) y vidal y perrier (1989), hemos desarrollado un modelo especifico para la zona, en el que se determina la evapotranspiracion del maiz a partir de una imagen de temperatura y de medidas de la radiacion neta y de la temperatura del aire.
