El efecto \u00abin vivo\u00bb de los metales sobre la atpasa depende del organo de procedencia de la enzima, activando en tallos e inhibiendo en raices.  sin embargo, en los experimentos \u00abin vitro\u00bb, siempre inhiben la actividad de la atpasa por lo que se postula un mecanismo indirecto para el efecto del cd y ni \u00abin vivo\u00bb.  la determinacion de la composicion lipidica de la membrana plasmatica en plantas tratadas muestra cambios en esterols asi como en la longitud y grado de insaturacion de las cadenas de acidos grasos de los fosfolipidos con respecto a los controles por lo que se sugiere que estos cambios son los responsables de la modificacion de la actividad de la atpasa \u00abin vivo\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
