El autor propone, en primer lugar, una investigacion de las condiciones de posibilidad de una estetica desde wittgenstein (dadas las peculiares caracteristicas de su obra); a continuacion, da cuenta de la polemica esencialismo\/antiesencialismo desarrollada en el ambito anglosajon ofreciendo una clasificacion critica de las opiniones y de los autores, elabora una aplicacion estetica de los principales \u00abargumentos\u00bb clasicos de la filosofia del lenguaje de wittgenstein, para llegar, finalmente, a un esclarecimiento de las caracteristicas de la comprension estetica y de la posibilidad de una teoria estetica desde wittgenstein, en virtud de las nociones de dimension comprensiva, perplejidad estetica, descripcion suplementaria, ver (seeing), ver como (seeing as) y coraje
