El aspecto mas interesante mostrado es el estudio tanto teorico como experimental de la interaccion de dicha onda con las discontinuidades (fenomenos de relexion y scattering). Las predicciones teoricas han sido confirmadas experimentalmente, y se ha llegado a una mejor comprension de los fenomenos de conversion de modos y la influencia de las propiedades de los componentes del medio poroso, sobre dichos fenomenos en el marco de la teoria de biot, donde aparecen dos modos longitudinales distintos de propagacion. Esta mejor comprension de estos fenomenos abre la posibilidad de aplicar esta teoria a la caracterizacion y estudio de nuevos y diferentes materiales (bajo una nueva perspectiva) que los analizados hasta ahora, como pueden ser fondos marinos, huesos, aplicaciones a los ensayos no destructivos, analisis de materiales compuestos, etc&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
