Los principales hallazgos fueron:  1,- al contrario de lo que sucede durante la prestaci\u00f3n emparejada de los est\u00edmulos condicionado e incondicionado las c\u00e9lulas piramidales responden preferentemente al est\u00edmulo condicionado.  2,- esta respuesta diferencial se presenta en relaci\u00f3n con la aparici\u00f3n de actividad oscilatoria r\u00e1pida y de un aumento de la excitabilidad en la de oscilaciones r\u00e1pidas y el aumento de la excitabilidad en la capa piramidal.  3,- la respuesta preferente ante el est\u00edmulo condicionado, la aparici\u00f3n de oscilaciones r\u00e1pidas y el aumento de la excitabilidad en la capa piramidal depende de mecanismos colin\u00e9rgicos mediados por receptores muscar\u00ednicos.  4,- la respuesta de las c\u00e9lulas piramidales ante el est\u00edmulo condicionado no se correlaciona con las propiedades sensoriales de este est\u00edmulo, ni con el paradigma de condicionamiento utilizado.  5,- la actividad de las c\u00e9lulas no se correlaciona con las caracter\u00edsticas cin\u00e9ticas de los movimientos palpebrales espont\u00e1neos, reflejos o condicionados.  6,- el tama\u00f1o de la respuesta de las c\u00e9lulas piramidales al est\u00edmulo condicionado es directamente proporcional al n\u00famero de presentaciones emparejadas del mismo, lo que indica que se\u00f1ala su valor predictivo.  se
