Esta expresion se sustituye en las ecuaciones que determinan la velocidad vertical de las corrientes de aire, simplificandolas y adecuandolas para una utilizacion mas sencilla. Aplicada a una atmosfera saturada de vapor, permite deducir la intensificacion que experimenten la velocidad vertical, como consecuencia del desprendimiento del calor de condensacion. Por ultimo se determina la cantidad de precipitacion que puede desprenderse al peso de una perturbacion basandose en la determinacion de la velocidad vertical en atmosfera saturada de
