La formulacion del metodo de elementos finitos (m.E.F.) Se ha realizado mediante la aplicacion del metodo de residuos de galerkin al modelo de primer orden de la linea monofasica de parametros distribuidos; mientras que la integracion temporal ha sido llevada a cabo en base a un metodo predictor-corrector, multipaso, de adams-basforth-moulton con incremento temporal variable.  la aplicacion del m.E.F. Al estudio de estos fenomenos obtiene una solucion eficiente con una generalidad en la modelacion del sistema real superior a la permitida en otros metodos de resolucion en el tiempo existentes en el momento actual. La formulacion original de m.E.F.  empleado, al realizar una discretizacion en todo el dominio unidimensional ensamblando posteriormente, en funcion de la topolog\u00eda de la red, en una matriz global del sistema la matrices de los elementos, no solo nos permite la aplicacion del metodo a redes complejas, sino que ademas estas pueden no ser homogeneas en cuanto a los parametros de las lineas que las componen.  el tratamiento modular del procedimiento de calculo desarrollado nos permite el estudio de secuencias de contigencias como consecuencia de la variacion, bien de la topolog\u00eda de
