En esta linea, tras definirse los parametros de caracteristicas de los materiales y de las exigencias industriales actuales, se ha realizado un programa de simulacion (en lenguaje de alto de nivel) que permita, tras un proceso de optimizacion y disponiendo de una base de datos y diferentes subrutinas, la obtencion del material optimo para cada aplicacion concreta entre los parametros de optimizacion se han considerado las propiedades mecanicas, el peso, la resistencia a corrosion, el reciclado, etc.  los valores obtenidos en la simulacion han sido finalmente contrastados con los
