Esther <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se ha desarrollado un modelo matematico trifasico para un horno de tostacion de 600 t\/d de pirita arsenical, efectuando en primer lugar una aproximacion macroscopica, para pasar despues a resolverlo en elementos de altura variable. En ambos casos, se ha estudiado la influencia de la variacion de parametros basicos, tales como el caudal de aire, calidad de alimentacion, entre otros, sobre la composicion del gas y la calidad de las cenizas obtenidas en base al esquema estequiometrico adoptado en el que se ha considerado feo\/fe2o3 como indicador global de la tostacion. Asimismo se ha visto como influiria una variacion en la refrigeracion sobre el rendimiento energetico de la instalacion. En la aproximacion macroscopica se ha obtenido como afectaria una variacion en el contenido de azufre en las cenizas sobre los restantes resultados. Mientras que en el desarrollo del modelo en elementos de altura variable se ha estudiado la influencia del diametro de burbuja.
