La importancia del da\u00f1o o insulto isquemico ha sido probada en numerosas situaciones patologicas. Su existencia a nivel hepatico ha alcanzado mayor interes con el desarrollo del trasplante hepatico (preservacion).  en este estudio se ha dise\u00f1ado un modelo de isquemia hepatica total, en ratas sprague-dawley, asociada a hepatectomia del 70%. Sobre el se han ensayado diferentes tratamientos farmacologicos hepatotroficos (ciclosporina a) y\/o antioxidantes (superoxido dismutasa, acido folico y alopurinol) en un intento de atenuar las lesiones inducidas por la isquemia. Su efectividad se ha valorado cuantificando citofotometricamente la actividad del higado residual a las 24 horas, tras analisis del contenido en dna nuclear hepatocitario.  tras la obtencion de los diferentes parametros regenerativos (porcentaje de hepatocitos en regeneracion y gradiente regenerativo) se observo que seguian una distribucion no normal, por lo que fueron analizados estadisticamente mediante el test de la suma de rangos (diferencias significativas si p menor de 0.05).  estos datos reflejaron el caracter hepatotrofico de la ciclosporina a que aumento ambos parametros regenerativos en todos los supuestos estudiados. La isquemia normotermica indujo un descenso en la regeneracion hepatocitaria. El tratamiento con acido folico y superoxido dismutasa mostraron una mejoria en la regeneracion desapareciendo su efecto deletereo de la isquemia en el caso del acido folico. Aquellos animales tratados con alopurinol no mostraron mejoria en el phr, pero si en el gr. Los radicales libres parecen implicados en las lesiones en el funcionalismo hepatico tras la isquemia normotermica.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
