Los pacientes fueron divididos en 2 grupos dependiendo de la emulsion lipidica utilizada (lct o mct\/lct), con objeto de valorar las modificaciones en los lipidos plasmaticos y en las proteinas de vida media corta, durante los dias que se mantuvo la nutricion artificial.  las variables estudiadas fueron: proteina transportadora del retinol, prealbumina, transferrina, colesterol total, trigliceridos, apoproteina a-i y apoproteina-b.  de los resultados obtenidos se han llegado a las siguientes conclusiones: 1) existe un incremento estadisticamente significativo del colesterol y apoproteina-b en el grupo que recibio mct\/lct respecto al grupo lct.-2) los niveles de trigliceridso se mantienen de forma permanente por encima de los limites de normalidad en el grupo que recibio mct\/lct.- 3) el incremento en las proteinas de vida media corta es mayor en el grupo que recibio mct\/lct a la finalizacion del estudio.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
