Las muestras corneales son procesadas para su estudio microscopico (microscopia optica y electronica) y espectroscopico (espectrofotometria luz visible, espectroscopia infrarrojos y espectroscopia moss baver). Comparando los resultados en presencia y ausencia de luz, se concluye que en ausencia de luz:  1.- Los resultados obtenidos en el modelo experimental en la oscuridad son claramente diferenciables de los obtenidos con exposicion a la luz, no obteniendo tincion hematica corneal durante los dias que duro el estudio.  2.- La falta de activacion de las porfirinas por la luz parece haber evitado el da\u00f1o endotelial, siendo por tanto la integridad del endotelio clave en el proceso.  3.- La reaccion inflamatoria acompa\u00f1ante a nivel corneal sigue teniendo su origen en los vasos del limbo. Y la inflamacion de la camara anterior no ha sido suficiente, al menos mientras dura el estudio, para lesionar el endotelio.  4.- La aplicacion de tecnolog\u00eda y metodos del campo de la fisica creemos supone un gran avance en el conocimiento de los procesos intimos de las muestras biologicas debiendo ser mas ampliamente utilizado.  5.- La espectroscopia de infrarrojos creemos puede tener una nueva aplicacion, esta vez dentro de la biolog\u00eda, mas concretamente de la medicina, como un metodo indirecto para detectar inflamacion en un tejido, al menos
