La deficiencia de hierro en plantas superiores produce una disminucion de la concentracion de todos los pigmentos fotosinteticos por area, aumentando la relacion molar luteina\/chl a y pigmentos vaz (violaxantina, anteraxantina y zeaxantina)\/ chl a. En campo en hojas de peral la deficiencia de hierro presenta ademas en hojas con contenido muy bajo de chl una disminucion de la relacion molar neoxantina\/chla. Las medidas realizadas por hplc (cromatografia liquida de alta resolucion) y de cambios de absorbancia a 505 nm muestran la funcionalidad de ciclo vaz en las hojas afectadas por deficiencia de hierro. Por otro lado, la salinidad y el estres hidrico no parecen afectar pese a la funcionalidad del aparato fotosintetico, si bien si estos estreses se combinan con altas intensidades de luz se producen disminuciones en la eficiencia fotoquimica del aparato fotosintetico y en la composicion pigmentaria del mismo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
